Oakdale Boonce, the man who found Heavygame.biz and led the music website in its new direction, will leave the music portion of the business in March shortly after the release of the new single "Life UP'.
Effective March. 6th, 2020, Boonce will be replaced by his sons Poppy Khan, Danky Ducksta and nephew Miho. While they have worked on many projects independently, there will be no musical input from Oakdale Boonce moving forward. The three have served on the Heavygame.biz board since its existence and have created 95% of the website's catalog. In his 4 years of the new era of Heavygame.biz, Boonce, 46, led the company to awesome growth and established a well built foundation for the three to continue to build on. Boonce will remain on the Heavygame.biz board.
Oakdale Boonce said "The transition was my idea and to be clear, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not sick. There are no issues I'm not sharing. I strongly believe the best way for us to evolve and grow as a company is to allow new phenomenal talent and ears to lead our team. This is the reason I'd like to appoint new CEOS of music and arts in 2020 to lead the company."
